Intelligent Multiscale Systems for Healthcare Science
We are interested in developing soft robots that can provide desired functions and properties to realize intelligent characteristics of advanced engineering systems for healthcare science. We are working to engineer biomimetic shape programmable soft robots that possess unique capabilities including highly sensitive and selective environment-awareness in response to external stimuli such as heat, pH, light, even biological bacteria, and DNAs.
We believe, this study of intelligent materials and soft robotics systems can contribute to providing a new platform for mechanical manufacturing and advanced engineering systems in healthcare science.
